Red Berry Christmas

This Christmas-y cutie has little red berries that look like decorations along with a mixture of green and red leaves. The plant is also known as American Wintergreen. The red berries are edible, also known as “tea berries”, and in Southwest China are regarded as traditional herbal medicine.

It likes moist but not wet soil and full to partial sun.
